In 1916, the Commonwealth Bank established an employee super fund to help its people save for their retirement.
Commonwealth Bank Group Super has enjoyed a long history of looking after the superannuation savings of our members who were employees of the Group, spouses of our members and pensioners.
On 3 November 2023, Group Super completed phase one of its merger with Australian Retirement Trust. Phase one of the merger involved the transfer of Retirement Access, Accumulate Plus and Defined Benefit (other than lifetime pension) members and their entitlements to Australian Retirement Trust.
On 26 October 2024 Commonwealth Bank Group Super completed its merger with Australian Retirement Trust, with a small number of members transferring to Commonwealth Bank of Australia (UK) Staff Benefits Scheme. The fund no longer provides superannuation benefits to members.
It has been a privilege to look after the retirement savings of past and present Commonwealth Bank Group employees and their families.
